Question

Hi

My OPT Extension will be expired on Feb 2019, and I'm a full time employee in U.S now. I need to go back China to do a 2-3 month business travel in 2017 summer and will be back at the end of 2017. What I worried about are basically 2 questions.

1.Do I need to report to my U.S school about my travel plan?

2. Am I allowed to stay in China for about 3 month and come back to U.S?

您在OPT期间出差，美国的雇主仍然会在美国支付给您工资对吗？如果是，那么就证明雇佣关系存在，您没有失业。您在入境时说清楚即可。

一般来说您的学校需要在您每次出境前在I-20上签字。所以您最好告诉学校。
